Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a dishwasher/utility team member for our Bartow facility. You will provide food service to patients and guests, maintain a clean and safe production environment, and support daily meal service operations.

This role involves assisting with tray delivery, catering events, and general kitchen duties. Preferred candidates have up to 6 months in food services or customer service, with strong communication and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in food services or customer service preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Basic computer skills required for POS and records.

Responsibilities

• Provide food service to patients and guests while maintaining a clean, sanitary environment.
• Assist with preparing and delivering patient trays and catering events as needed.

BayCare is currently in search of our newest Team Member who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our patients, team members, and families by joining our food services team.

This position is for dishwasher/utility.

Responsibilities

• Provide food service to patients, guests or customers. Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe food production environment. May prepare food or drink items, assemble and deliver patient trays or catering events and perform daily cleaning of dishes and work areas. Receive and store food and supply deliveries using FIFO principles. Act as a liaison between, patients, guests, physicians, other hospital personnel and Food and Nutrition Services. Perform other duties as assigned.
