Cooper’s Hawk is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support our restaurant operations in Arlington Heights. You will clean and restock dishes, maintain a sanitary dish area, and assist in keeping the back dock organized.

The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We value individuals who can read and understand English, communicate clearly, and adapt to flexible shifts including weekends and some holidays.

Qualificações

• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is a plus.
• Able to multi-task and work calmly under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Clean and restock plates, dishes, utensils, glasses, silverware, pots and pans.
• Maintain dishwasher and kitchen floors; sweep and mop as needed.
• Assist in keeping the back dock clean and organized; handle waste and unloading as required.
• Follow safety protocols and company standards to ensure a sanitary work area.
• Communicate clearly with Managers and Team Members and support opening/closing checklists.

What You’ll Do

• Assist operational excellence by cleaning and restocking all plates, dishes, utensils, glasses, silverware, pots, pans in the restaurant
• Clean and maintain the dishwasher as directed
• Sweep and mop the kitchen floors as needed or as directed
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe back dock by cleaning it as required
• Ensure a clean work environment by breaking down and removing all garbage and boxes to the dumpster or designated area
• Assist in receiving products when requested
• Adhere to all kitchen systems and standards
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized and stocked work area
• Maintain professional relationships and clear communications with all Managers and Team Members
• Follow departmental checklists and standard operating procedures to ensure work areas are prepared for opening, mid-shift or closing in accordance with company guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• Must represent Cooper’s Hawk Values
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Experience working in a restaurant; high-volume, full-service restaurant experience preferred
• An individual who thrives in a team-based environment
• Has a passion for guest service and hospitality-focused
• Must be able to read, write and understand English
• Ability to communicate clearly with Guests, Managers and Team Members
• Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and some holidays
• Ability to multi-task and work calmly and effectively under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk up to 10 hours per shift
• Ability to exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 6 hours in length
• Ability to work within the following conditions: wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud noise
• Ability to perform essential functions to Cooper’s Hawk standards with reasonable accommodation
