Job summary

COTE Miami in the Design District seeks a dedicated dishwasher to support a high-volume kitchen with polished glassware and spotless dishware. You will ensure items are clean, defect-free, and ready for service, while maintaining a spotless dish pit and supporting other stations.

The role requires punctuality, uniform compliance, and the ability to train new staff. A Food Handler Certification is preferred, with flexibility to work weekends and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receives clean glassware, flatware, and service items from the dish pit and inspects for flaws.
• Removes defective items and informs management; polishes all glassware, flatware, and dishes.
• Ensures no watermarks or debris remain on items; maintains shine.
• Polishes grill rims and kitchen equipment; uses metal polish.
• Maintains cleanliness of the dish pit area at all times.
• Cleans ice machines, coffee station, water station, and refrigerators daily.
• Completes side work related to dish pit setup and breakdown.
• Maintains tools including polishing cloths for glassware.
• Reports to shifts on time, in uniform, and ready to work.
• Trains new employees as assigned; assists other stations as needed.
