Job summary

arnothealth is seeking a dedicated kitchen support worker to maintain high cleaning standards in the assigned area and to treat equipment with care. You will report to the Director of Food and Nutrition and support daily dining operations, including dishwashing, cart delivery, and basic food service tasks.

Responsibilities include following sanitation protocols, assisting with training colleagues, and being available for shift coverage. Prior kitchen experience is helpful but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and follow directions, both written and verbal.
• On-the-job instruction is provided, but some kitchen experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures as required by the role.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas thoroughly according to schedule.
• Maintain cleanliness of dish room and dish machine.
• Rotate stock, label items and prepare ingredients as needed.
• Assist with delivering food carts and trays.
• Unload and wash pots, pans, and utensils; operate dish machine.
• Participate in training and adhere to corporate compliance and quality initiatives.
