Job summary

Hy-Vee is hiring a Dishroom Clerk in the Market Grille. The role focuses on prompt, friendly customer service and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen area. You will handle dishes, assist in the dining area, and work closely with store staff to ensure smooth operations.

Candidates should have up to 6 months of related experience. The position is onsite with an hourly wage and pre-employment drug screening may be required.

Qualifications

• Six months or less of similar or related work experience.
• No education requirement.
• Physical demands: able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service in interactions with customers.
• Greets customers and helps in the Market Grille area; maintains cleanliness of the work area and kitchen equipment.
• Washes dishes, utensils, pots and pans; handles food safely and follows hygiene guidelines.
• Works with team to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth operations; reports to supervisor as required.
