Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Dishroom Attendant at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. You will help maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization across production and service areas, including dishwashing, setup, and basic break-down tasks. Shifts vary and may include weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• No related work experience required.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic food safety concepts.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or in a dishwashing machine.
• Cleans and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment using chemicals to ensure sanitary standards.
• Restocks supplies (soap, towels, cleaning materials).
• Walks or moves around the facility during shifts.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
