Job summary

Sodexo at Alcorn State University is seeking a Dishwasher to support kitchen and facility operations. You will maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout food production and service areas, including cleaning equipment and restrooms, and assisting with basic setup and break-down tasks.

The role requires open availability, varies shifts, and a pay range of $12 to $16.87 per hour. Benefits and a comprehensive training program are offered to support career growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or places them in a dishwashing machine.
• Cleans and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment using specific chemicals to ensure sanitary standards.
• Restocks supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
• Attends scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned based on client requirements.
