Job summary

Great Western Dining Service is seeking a friendly, energetic Dishwasher for a 3-7 pm shift at our Southern Arkansas University Tech locations. This role supports kitchen operations by washing dishes, prepping dining areas, and maintaining clean workspaces.

Ideal candidates have minimal experience, strong problem solving and communication skills, and the ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 25 pounds. We follow food safety procedures and promote a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 25 pounds.
• Willingness to follow all food safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware.
• Prepare dining areas and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
• Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc.
• Unload and store deliveries.
• Sweep and mop floors, especially when items are broken or spilled.
• Take out trash and rinse garbage cans.
• Support other staff by assisting with additional tasks as needed.
