Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Little Italy in San Diego is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Dish Steward to join our team. This part-time role offers you an opportunity to contribute to a high-volume hospitality operation under Schulte Hospitality Group.

You will maintain cleanliness of the dish area, sanitize ware, assist with restocking, and support the kitchen team to ensure smooth service. Prior experience in a similar role and a high school education are preferred; this position is

• Previous experience in a similar role required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes all dishes, glassware, utensils and pots.
• Maintains dish room and dish machine.
• Restocks all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans.
• Removes all garbage.
• Breaks down, cleans and sanitizes the dish machine at the end of the shift.
• Keep dish and other storage areas clean and organized.
• Assists with cleaning other areas of restaurant as requested
• Perform various other duties as assigned
