Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Assisant Stewarding position in the Houston area to support the Food & Beverage Outlets. You will assist the Stewarding Supervisor by cleaning and organizing dishes, utensils, and equipment in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of service ware to complement guest experience.
• Ability to push/pull carts up to 150 lbs with/without accommodation.
• Ability to transport heavy objects through a crowded room with/without accommodation.
• Ability to grasp, lift and carry items up to 200 lbs with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiledware for dish/pot machines.
• Wash ware and place in storage areas as designated.
• Maintain strength and stamina for high activity.
• Keep dish machine clean and filled with water.
• Operate burnishing machine for silver finish.
• De-tarnish and polish silver for appearance.
• Clean kettles, skillets, pots and pans promptly for cooks.
