Job summary

AdventHealth in Zephyrhills, FL is hiring for a full-time dishwashing and kitchen support role. You will clean and sanitize dishes, deliver patient trays, and help restock serviceware while maintaining safety and confidentiality standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, flatware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper techniques and chemical concentrations to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Prepare items for washing by scraping and presoaking, ensuring all visible soil is removed before running through the dish machine for effective sanitization.
• Deliver patient trays and late trays accurately and on time, following identification protocols and confidentiality policies.
• Transport patient meal carts and bulk nourishment carts to and from nursing units, maintaining cleanliness of all carts and equipment.
• Restock clean serviceware to designated locations using correct handling procedures, and monitor dishroom sanitation logs, chemical usage, and equipment performance to ensure compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
