The dish room position at St. Bernards Healthcare will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and carts used for both retail and room service operations.

You will also retrieve soiled trays from patient units and ensure overall sanitation of the kitchen using standard checklists. Daily tasks include washing and returning items, maintaining floors and equipment, and delivering food carts while communicating effectively with hosts and kitchen staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, take verbal instruction and perform basic arithmetic.
• One year experience in a customer service/food service position preferred.
• Safety sensitive position; refer to policy and hospital guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and carts used for both retail and room service.
• Retrieve soiled trays from patient units and ensure sanitation of the kitchen.
• Follow daily/weekly sanitation checklists to maintain department cleanliness.
• Maintain floors, walls, equipment, and service items; operate dish machine per specifications.
• Check temperatures, verify equipment function, and deliver food carts as needed.
