Job summary

Columbus Museum of Art is seeking a Part-Time Dish Washer to join the back-of-house kitchen team in Columbus, Ohio. You will wash all dishes, silverware, glasses, and cooking utensils and assist with prep tasks as needed.

This role requires standing, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. A high school diploma or equivalent and prior dishwashing experience are preferred; the position is non-exempt and union-represented.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience in dishwashing and food preparation.
• Must be quality- and service- oriented; must have professional demeanor.
• Must possess high school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Operate dish machine, wash dishes, and daily cleaning of machine.
• Maintain orderliness and sanitation of work area and storage, including putting away stock and organizing storage areas.
• Communicate and cooperate with Chef, Assistant Manager, and co-workers.
• Set up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks, and keep floors clean and dry.
• Properly wash, store china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers.
• Assist in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the chef as needed.
