Job summary

Incyte Corporation seeks a Disease Area Lead to translate complex disease biology and clinical data into compelling learning experiences for the Commercial Learning & Development organization. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related field; PharmD/MS strongly preferred.
• 3–5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, medical science, clinical education, or related field.
• Deep expertise in disease biology, treatment protocols, and competitive landscape.
• Prior experience in pharmaceutical sales training, medical education, or MSL roles preferred.
• Strong understanding of oncology patient journey and clinical decision-making.
• Ability to translate complex scientific information into clear, commercially relevant learning content.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
• Experience navigating MLR review and ensuring compliance with promotional standards.
• Proficiency in digital learning tools, LMS platforms, and virtual training technologies.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills for scientific and commercial audiences.
• Ability to travel up to 30–50% including field visits and training events.

Responsibilities

• Lead disease state education and curriculum development covering biology, patient journey, treatment landscape, and emerging science.
• Translate complex clinical information into clear, engaging, field-ready learning content.
• Update training materials reflecting latest data and guidelines.
• Deliver training via instructor-led, virtual, onboarding, and sales meetings.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Regulatory to align messaging.
• Ensure training content goes through MLR review for compliance.
• Partner with Sales Training to integrate disease state content into curriculum.
• Measure training impact and iterate based on feedback and performance.
