British American Household Staffing is seeking an experienced, discreet housekeeper for a high-end Manhattan residence. The role supports a property manager/executive housekeeper, with hours typically 12pm-8pm, Monday to Friday, and occasional evenings or Saturdays for events.

The ideal candidate has private-residence experience, excellent references, and a calm, team-oriented approach. Uniforms provided; overtime possible for entertaining.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-end private residences with fine art and delicate surfaces.
• Willingness to iron and perform garment care.
• Able to adjust hours for dinners and private events.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a residence to a high standard, caring for art and delicate surfaces.
• Support chef and servers during formal dinners and entertaining.
• Grocery shopping, light cooking in pinch, and meal service support.
• Follow family protocols and work under a supervisor in a team setting.
• Notice and report issues (bulbs, leaks, scratches) promptly.
