Discovery Field Application Specialist, Molecular Interactions (Boston, MA)

Join to apply for the Discovery Field Application Specialist, Molecular Interactions (Boston, MA) role at Cytiva.

This role supports the Cytiva Discovery business by providing pre- and post-sales support, product demonstrations, seminars, training, and customer service activities to achieve territory sales objectives.

The position reports to the Discovery Protein Research Application and Training Leader and involves remote work covering the assigned territory.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting sales with technical demonstrations and customer training.
• Achieving regional revenue targets.
• Delivering advanced scientific presentations at customer sites and conferences.
• Building strong relationships with key opinion leaders within the regional market.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Life Sciences or Engineering; MS or PhD preferred.
• At least 3 years of practical laboratory experience in molecular interactions, biophysical, or bioanalytical techniques.

Additional requirements:

• Ability to travel up to 30-35% overnight.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Preferred experience:

• Knowledge of Biotech/Biopharmaceutical process development.
• Experience with label-free assays, SPR, ITC, BLI.
• Understanding of antibody characterization, small molecules, and QC assays.
