Job summary

Merck in Omaha, Nebraska seeks a laboratory professional to conduct veterinary/biological studies under supervision, performing routine to complex lab work and coordinating with the animal care group. You will record data, prepare summaries, and assist in SOP/R&D protocol development.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in biology or related field with 1–2 years of lab experience, plus strong aseptic techniques and knowledge across microbiology, virology, and immunology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, animal science, or related field with 1–2 years of relevant lab experience.
• Strong aseptic technique, microbiology, virology, immunology, and animal science knowledge.
• Experience with bacteria or virus propagation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lab and animal studies under supervision for veterinary or biological products.
• Record data and prepare tabulated summaries for supervisor.
