Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, animal science, or related field and 1-2 years of relevant lab experience.
• Proficiency in aseptic techniques, microbiology, virology, immunology and animal science is required.
• Experience with cell culture, PCR, ELISA and basic molecular biology is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory and animal studies under supervision for development of veterinary or biological products.
• Perform routine lab work with minimal supervision; escalate complex tasks as needed.
• Record data, perform calculations, and provide tabulated summaries to supervisor.
• Assist in writing SOPs and R&D procedures with supervision; may serve as Study Investigator.
• Coordinate work schedules with animal care group and maintain equipment.
