- Directs long- and short-range planning on sharing program expectations and requirements for the purpose of coordinating regional shared learning, in-person support, and connections to specialized project expertise; escalates issues requiring program interpretation, exceptions, or technical resolution.
- Monitors regional readiness and key milestones, identifies barriers early, and provides direct support to grantees that are off track for the purpose of helping grantees translate statewide requirements into workable local plans, including enrollment, attendance, staffing, schedules, training, materials, assessments/rostering, and reporting readiness.
- Participates in statewide/regional implementation meetings for the purpose of maintaining timely communication with grantees and project partners, current and accurate grantee information, documentation, and status tracking within agreed statewide systems.
- Reviews budgets and financial documentation at key points in the program cycle, including application, enrollment adjustments, and closeout, and elevates material compliance or fiscal concerns as needed for the purpose of coordinating with fiscal and project partners on closeout, final payment readiness, required documentation, and unresolved grantee issues.
- Tracks completion of required grant-management documentation, including contracts, data-sharing/privacy agreements, claim/attestation forms, expenditure reports, and payment readiness.
- Conducts and coordinates site visits to provide support, understand implementation conditions, identify successful practices, and inform statewide learning, as well as support regional/site-level logistics for visits involving program, evaluation, communications, leadership, or funder partners to minimize duplication and burden on grantees.
- Responds to a wide variety of inquiries from ESD staff, and school district personnel, general public, school districts, and other professional organizations for the purpose of resolving problems, providing information, and/or referring to appropriate personnel.
