Job summary

The Oaks Church in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking a full-time Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Missions to help grow our discipleship culture and leadership development pathway while expanding our mission engagement.

The role leads the discipleship strategy, Missional Community Groups, Bible studies, and leadership development, and oversees local, global, and church planting missions, internships, apprenticeships, and residency programs.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have experience leading discipleship ministries and a passion for developing leaders.
• Experience coordinating mission projects and church planting initiatives is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and expand the church's discipleship culture and pathways.
• Oversee Missional Community Groups, Bible studies, assimilation, and leadership development.
• Coach group leaders and identify future ministry leaders through internships, apprenticeships, and residencies.
• Oversee local, global, and church planting missions efforts and coordinate trips and partner support.
