Job summary

The Sky Lakes Medical Center Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Ready for Discharge Unit (RDU) on supplemental night shifts.

You will deliver safe, patient-centered care to medically ready patients, lead a team including LPNs, CNAs, UAPs and NIs, and collaborate to remove discharge barriers. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, education for patients and families, and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon RN licensure.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Familiarity with discharge planning and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and discharge planning.
• Supervise LPNs, CNAs, UAPs and NIs in the unit.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to address discharge barriers.
• Document patient progress and update care plans.
