Job summary

ServiceMaster of South Shore Inc. seeks an Estimator to oversee residential and commercial loss projects related to insurance claims, including construction or repairs.

Will collaborate with all departments on estimates, scopes of work, and approvals, with potential on-site involvement for timely execution. Ideal candidates have restoration/construction experience, familiarity with Xactimate, strong computer skills, and a valid driver's license; IICRC certification is preferred but training can

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration and construction environments.
• Proficiency with Xactimate software.
• Strong computer skills and professional correspondence.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel.
• IICRC certification preferred, but training available.

Responsibilities

• Calls on adjusters, property managers and referrals to support the project.
• Receive loss assignments and prepare scope estimates.
• Coordinate with mitigation and construction staff, potentially on-site.
• Create budgets and monitor job costs vs. estimates.
• Coordinate invoicing and billing with accounting for estimating/bidding.
• Maintain project documentation and communication across departments.
