Job summary

Convoy of Hope is seeking a Disaster Response Manager to lead field operations for active responses across the U.S. and internationally, deploying with the disaster relief team and coordinating POD sites, debris removal, and supply distribution.

You will supervise projects, mentor volunteers, and collaborate with partners while maintaining safety protocols and reporting requirements. This role requires readiness to deploy on short notice for extended periods and to obtain certifications as

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in disaster services or church/compassion ministry or related work is required.
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability and willingness to deploy often on short notice for up to several weeks at a time.
• International travel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deploys as part of the response team in the U.S. and internationally to oversee setup and operation of relief efforts.
• Deploys as a Disaster Assessor and provides recommendations to DR leadership.
• Provides management for responses with no physical field presence, coordinating with partners to ensure relief efforts are carried out and reported.
