Job summary

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation is seeking a Manager, Disaster Resilience to translate strategy into execution across our disaster preparedness, response, and community resilience portfolio in Washington, DC.

You will lead projects and workstreams, combine operational excellence with responsible use of AI, and deliver timely activations and briefs to internal and external partners. This role requires cross‑sector partnership building, data‑driven insights, and the ability to operate with

Qualifications

• Experience managing multifaceted projects with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to brief diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently with general direction and manage ambiguity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, CRM, dashboards, and AI tools for research, planning, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead programs and workstreams end to end, from scoping through execution and closeout.
• Translate high‑level objectives into actionable project plans with milestones and resources.
• Track milestones, KPIs, and outcomes using AI-enabled analysis and dashboards.
• Identify risks early and elevate practical recommendations to protect quality and timeliness.
• Support incident response activations with partner coordination, briefings, and resource alignment.
