Job summary

AEP Service Corporation is seeking a Disaster Recovery Analyst to maintain recovery documentation, inventory, dependencies, testing materials, metrics and compliance evidence, collaborating with technology teams to update RTO/RPO and support tests.

The role contributes to audit-ready recovery documentation and readiness activities, with 2–4 years in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, IT Operations or related fields and a relevant degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in IT/CS/Cybersecurity/Business or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity or IT resiliency work.
• Preferred ABCP/ITIL certifications or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain DR inventory, recovery objective, contact and dependency records.
• Gather recovery information including RTO/RPO data and cloud/SaaS recovery details.
• Support planning and execution of tabletop, functional, and scenario tests.
• Organize audit evidence and identify gaps for senior review.
• Track metrics, readiness status and corrective actions.
