Job summary

Ceres Environmental Operations seeks a Loader Operator to support debris removal and disaster recovery across active project sites. You will operate front-end loaders to load, move, and stockpile debris safely, coordinating with field teams to meet production goals.

This on-site role requires you to work outdoors in varying conditions, with potential travel to different project locations. A focus on safety, reliability, and teamwork will help you thrive in a fast-paced humanitarian response

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience operating front-end loaders or similar heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in outdoor, physically demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders to load, move, and stockpile debris and materials safely and efficiently.
• Support disaster response by clearing roadways, staging debris, and loading trucks for transport.
• Perform site preparation and material handling to support field operations.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow project plans and supervisor direction to meet operational goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures (OSHA, DOT).
• Maintain awareness of surroundings to operate safely around crews and trucks.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work.
• Assist with general labor tasks and other operational duties as needed.
• Demonstrate flexibility to support multiple disaster response operations.
