Job summary

Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Austin seeks an ONA Operations Manager to lead the Disaster Assistance Grant Program. You will supervise staff, manage budgets and drive policy development for timely, compliant service delivery.

This exempt, full-time role requires program leadership, strategic planning and collaboration with FEMA and state partners to improve client outcomes during disasters.

Qualifications

• Experience in management of a disaster grant program.
• Degree in business, emergency management, criminal justice, or related field.
• Experience supervising or coordinating a team.
• Experience working with federal grants.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of the Disaster Assistance Program.
• Plan, develop and evaluate the program and budgets.
