Job summary

The State of Louisiana, Division of Administration/Disaster Recover Unit (DRU) invites applications for a senior financial management role to oversee disaster recovery programs funded through CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT. Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
• Two years of professional-level experience in financial management, financial analysis, accounting, grants management, or public sector finance.
• Master’s degree may substitute for one year of required experience or two years for a specialized degree.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct the financial management of disaster recovery programs funded through CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT and other sources.
• Conduct financial analysis, cost projections, scenario modeling, and program performance reviews.
• Supervise and develop finance staff while coordinating with program managers, grants management, contracts, budgets, and other finance functions.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, SOPs, and ensure compliance with HUD/OMB requirements.
• Coordinate with program managers, grants management staff, contracts staff, finance teams, and external partners to align operations.

Education

Baccalaureate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
