Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an experienced Cost Estimator to join our Disaster Recovery Cadre. You will develop accurate cost estimates for infrastructure restoration, emergency work, and permanent repairs across the United States, evaluating damaged facilities and supporting funding eligibility determinations.

This on-call, as-needed role may involve remote, field-based, or hybrid assignments depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in construction estimating or related field.
• Experience developing conceptual, parametric, and detailed cost estimates.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for infrastructure restoration, emergency, and permanent work.
• Develop labor, equipment, materials, and general conditions cost estimates.
• Support FEMA Public Assistance cost analyses and documentation.
