Job summary

OU Health is seeking an Administrative Manager Emergency Preparedness to lead the implementation and maintenance of the Emergency Preparedness Program, coordinating prevention, mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery efforts.

The role includes developing disaster training and exercises, scheduling courses, maintaining documentation, and supporting emergency operations during incidents, with local travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in emergency management, public administration, sociology, or related field.
• One year experience in the research, analysis, planning, and development of an emergency plan or training program for emergency operations.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements disaster preparedness training and exercise program that tests and supports emergency plans for OU Health, identifies deficiencies, and strives to improve organizational resiliency.
• Schedules, coordinates, and conducts training courses, workshops, seminars, exercises, and meetings, including securing instructors and materials.
• Maintains records on training and exercises conducted and/or hosted by OU Health as mandated and/or recommended by federal, state, and/or local agencies.
• Assists in emergency response and operations when directed, and in disaster planning.
