Job summary

UC Health in West Chester, OH is seeking an Emergency Management Manager to lead disaster preparedness across the West Chester Hospital campus. You will ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS and OSHA guidelines and collaborate with internal and external agencies to strengthen emergency response capabilities.

The role includes developing and delivering training, coordinating drills (minimum two per year), managing budgets and grants, and guiding a team of associates toward high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; Emergency Management or related field preferred.
• Two to 3 years of experience in the effective management of resources and personnel.
• Experience building relationships with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory agencies such as ODH, OSHA, TJC and CMS and JCAHO.
• Training or experience in Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the facilities emergency management and preparedness programs at site level.
• Ensures the hospital campus is compliant with all current external regulatory requirements and regulations.
• Chairs Emergency Management Committees at the designated facility and updates the Emergency Operations Plan.
• Gathers and disseminates disaster related information to leadership and the UC Health community.
• Coordinates disaster drills and education to improve emergency readiness across sites.
