You will review engineering reports, analyze designs, and support hazard mitigation proposals while coordinating with applicants and FEMA for program delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 5 years of in-field experience or 2 years of in-field with professional registration.
• Domestic travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts site inspections to validate and record infrastructure damage, develop scopes of work, and cost estimates.
• Reviews and analyzes engineering reports, designs, and as-built plans.
• Makes recommendations regarding claim eligibility and hazard mitigation proposals; coordinates with applicants.
• Provides analyses and updates reports; participates in status update meetings with FEMA.
• May coordinate and complete basic to moderately complex site inspections for FEMA Public Assistance.
