ServiceMaster Apple Valley is seeking a dedicated Claims Coordinator to support disaster restoration operations in Connecticut. You will act as the primary liaison between customers and adjusters, verify coverage, and coordinate inspections, mitigations, and after-hours dispatches.

The role requires 3+ years in restoration or insurance claims, strong writing and communication skills, and proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft 365. Hybrid work options available with competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in restoration, insurance claims, or program/TPA work
• Solid knowledge of water/fire mitigation and typical timelines
• Established relationships with CT insurance professionals
• Experience working with adjusters on coverage, approvals, and documentation
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Highly organized and confident with CRM software and Microsoft 365

Responsibilities

• Manage Claims: Serve as the main point of contact between customers and adjusters on a loss. Confirm coverage and secure approvals for specialty equipment, dumpsters, and testing. Partner with our large-loss team and close jobs once paid.
• Customer Intake: Answer calls and accept program assignments on time. Be the customer's go-to contact regarding updates, status, and schedule.
• Coordinating: Schedule inspections and mitigation jobs by coordinating with customers, crews, subs, and vendors. Respond to after-hours emergencies on a rotating on-call schedule and dispatch crews accordingly.
• Job Documentation: Maintain job files, contacts, notes, and all communications.

Claims Coordinator is the backbone of operations: keeping customers informed, adjusters aligned, and the field operations structured.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Attend our daily morning team meeting. Share rotating after-hours on-call coverage.
