Job summary

ETE REMAN is seeking a reliable Disassembler to start the remanufacturing process by carefully disassembling transmission cores and preserving parts for the assembly teams on the production line. You will work with teammates to maintain flow, inspect parts, and report issues to leads.

This role requires physical stamina, willingness to get dirty, and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old with a high school diploma preferred, detail oriented, automotive/mechanical ability a plus.
• Willingness to get dirty and work with chemicals as needed.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for 8+ hours, with good time management and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble transmissions and maintain one piece flow to avoid mixing job numbers.
• Provide basic inspection of parts during teardown and inform leads of issues.
• Process at minimum 2 units per hour and assist others when caught up with own work.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area; sweep, mop, and keep area organized throughout the day.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment as needed on the teardown line.
• Suggest improvements, help train new personnel, and communicate issues; willing to work overtime when needed.
• Follow directions from team leads and managers; be proactive and helpful.
• Be punctual and maintain attendance; uphold ETE Reman core values.
• Support a collaborative, fast-paced production environment.

As a Disassembler you start the process and play a big part of the team in providing quality parts to our production lines and builders. This is key and very important in the remanufacturing process of transmissions and to all our customers. Your day will be spent carefully disassembling transmission cores following our process & procedures and preserving all parts needed to complete the building process. You must work efficiently, interact and help other team members to ensure daily demands are met and processes run smoothly on the production line.

Essential Functions:

• Must be 18 years old, high school diploma preferred, detail oriented, automotive/mechanical ability a plus
• Willingness and understanding you will get dirty at times, and will have to work with chemicals
• Skill and ability of working with your hands, manual and impact air tools (must provide your own)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand & work on your feet for 8+ hours a day and under pressure at times
• Have a Can-Do Attitude, with good time management, communication and decision-making skills
• Self-starting and motivation; believe in teamwork and uphold the ability to always help others
• Adhere to all safety rules, give it your all every day, must have regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
