ETE REMAN in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is seeking a Disassembler to initiate the remanufacturing process and support production lines. You will carefully disassemble transmission cores, preserve parts, and help teammates meet daily demands and maintain smooth workflow on the line.
You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work with hands-on tools. A high school diploma is preferred, and a strong safety mindset is essential for this role.
As a Disassembler you start the process and play a big part of the team in providing quality parts to our production lines and builders. This is key and very important in the remanufacturing process of transmissions and to all our customers. Your day will be spent carefully disassembling transmission cores following our process & procedures and preserving all parts needed to complete the building process. You must work efficiently, interact and help other team members to ensure daily demands are met and processes run smoothly on the production line .

Disassemble transmissions and maintain one piece flow in order not to mix job numbers
Basic inspection of parts while taking units apart, inform leads and supervisors of all issues
Process at minimum 2 units per hour and assist others when caught up with one’s own work
Keep an even work flow , follow process and procedures, sweep and mop job area throughout the day
Perform preventative maintenance on tools, teardown and production line equipment as necessary
Suggest improvements, help train new personnel, communicate all issues, work overtime when needed
Follow directions from team leads, supervisors and managers, be proactive and helpful
Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment, be at your workstation on time daily

Must be 18 years old, high school diploma preferred, detail oriented, automotive/mechanical ability a plus
Willingness and understanding you will get dirty at times, and will have to work with chemicals
Skill and ability of working with your hands, manual and impact air tools (must provide your own)
Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand & work on your feet for 8+ hours a day and under pressure at times
Have a Can-Do Attitude, with good time management, communication and decision-making skills
Self-starting and motivation; believe in teamwork and uphold the ability to always help others
Adhere to all safety rules, give it your all every day, must have regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
