Job summary

Front Range Community College is seeking a Disability Support Services Coordinator to advocate for students with disabilities and maintain compliance with federal disability statutes and FRCC policies. This position serves as the primary resource for services to students with disabilities at FRCC, providing direct service and facilitating related support services.

The ideal candidate will have broad knowledge of disabilities and accommodations and will serve as a resource on disability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special or Developmental Education, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Experience engaging students, clients and/or customers in a helping role.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic accommodations and assistive technologies to students.
• Coordinate DSS student case management and coaching students on success strategies.
• Coordinate accommodations between students with disabilities and faculty.
• Advocate for accessibility and ADA compliance across the campus.

Education
