Job summary

Center for Public Partnerships & Research is seeking an academic aide to assist students with disabilities at the University of Kansas. Responsibilities include serving as a laboratory aide, assisting with exams, and facilitating computer navigation. A minimum of 1 year experience using various computer programs is required. This position is hourly/non-exempt and student employees are not eligible for remote work unless exceptions are made. Applicants must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours during the semester.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience using a variety of computer programs as evidenced by application materials.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a laboratory aide; note-taking in the classroom; proctoring, scribing, and reading exams.
• Communication with the supervisor about challenges or concerns.
• Assisting with live computer navigation and program usage for the student.
