The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, is seeking a Workforce Specialist to help individuals and families navigate daily living skills and community integration at Whitten Regional Center in Clinton, SC. You will assess needs, implement programs, provide training, ensure safety, and maintain documentation.

A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor's degree may substitute, with a valid driver's license

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree may substitute.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Basic computer skills including Therap and SCEIS Central.

Responsabilidades

• Implements services for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in group settings (leisure, vocational, daily living skills).
• Completes assessments and monitors progress; revises programs as needed.
• Provides training in self-help skills and coverage in residential units.
• Ensures a safe and clean environment and maintains safety.
• Completes documentation including attendance and payroll reports.
• Provides direct hands-on care and transports consumers to programs and appointments.
• May stay over or work extra shifts to ensure proper staffing.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
