Job summary

Keystone Human Services seeks a Program Specialist Trainee to assist the Area Supervisor and Direct Support Professionals in promoting independence for individuals supported. The role collaborates with a Behavioral Health Professional on assessments, plans of care, and behavioral support.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree and one year of direct experience with intellectual disabilities or autism, plus CPR/First Aid and background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year experience with intellectual disabilities or autism.
• Intermediate computer skills to use internal software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• First Aid and CPR certifications and other mandated trainings.
• Valid driver's license with daily access to a private vehicle.
• Successful completion of pre-employment checks (MVR and background).

Responsibilities

• Assist Area Supervisor and Direct Support Professionals to promote independence.
• Collaborate with Behavioral Health Professional on assessments and plans of care.
• Assist in developing and implementing individual assessments and support plans.
• Support behavioral plans and related documentation.
