Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Middlesex County, Old Bridge, NJ is seeking a Part-time Employment Coordinator. The role focuses on empowering individuals with disabilities through person-centered employment planning, training, and placement support.

The position requires a 4-year degree and involves coordinating with funding agencies, delivering training, and providing on/off-site support after placement. Travel and Spanish bilingual abilities are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 2+ years of experience with funding agencies (DDD, DVRS, or CBVI) preferred.
• Ability to attend specialized employment training and maintain professional development hours.
• Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Expertise in MS Office applications, internet search, and data entry.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work with clients in-person and remotely.
• Able to travel (valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required).
• Bilingual-Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all work is carried out in a manner respectful and empowering to families and individuals with disabilities.
• Establish and maintain a positive rapport with referring agency personnel to build productive, consistently high referral numbers.
• Develop a person-centered Employment Plan based upon information from referrals, observations, and assessments.
• Provide employment-related preparatory training (resume development, interview skills, job search options, networking, and on-the-job relationships).
• Provide assistance in actual job search, applications, interviewing, and assistive technology assessment and procurement.
• Provide on- or off-site assistance after placement to ensure task understanding, accommodations, and independent functioning.
• Document work and write and submit billing reports for the fee-for-service process.
• Refer job seekers for additional expert assistance to maintain benefits (SSI, SSDI, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.).
• Complete accurate reports, database entries, case notes, and documentation in a timely manner.
• Accept new referrals or coaching 15 hours per week to keep program productive.
• Alert supervisor of any case issues or successes promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
