Job summary

University of California, Davis School of Education invites applications for a tenure-track, full-time assistant professor position with potential joint affiliation with the UC Davis MIND Institute beginning Fall 2027. We seek candidates whose research and teaching advance disability justice, neurodiversity, and inclusion at elementary and/or secondary levels.

Qualifications

• Must have, or be close to completing, an earned doctorate in Education, Special Education, or a related field.
• Strong commitment to research and teaching in disability, inclusion, and related policy areas.

Responsibilities

• Conducting and maintaining a productive program of research; seeking extramural support for research and graduate student funding.
• Teaching graduate, undergraduate, and credential courses; mentoring master’s and doctoral students (Ed.D. and Ph.D.); and serving on school and university committees.
