Job summary

Goodwill-Industries-of-the-Columbia is seeking a Job Coach & DD Program Assistant to support facility-based job training for individuals with disabilities within a Goodwill retail environment and in community settings.

The role focuses on skill development, task completion, and behavior management to help transition participants to independent employment. It requires maintaining case notes and coordinating with educators, vendors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contact with participants and community employers to ensure job match meets needs.
• Advocate for individuals served; negotiate schedules and accommodations as needed.
• Maintain on-call availability 7:00–8:00 am and report to worksite promptly.
• Provide job coaching to individuals learning tasks.
• Maintain case notes and documentation in required formats.
• Supervise and support individuals in training at Goodwill retail facilities.
• Support person-centered training goals and employment plans; track progress.
• Follow behavioral support plans as required.
• Coordinate with providers for resources and services.
• Model professional relationships between staff and participants.
• Maintain positive relations with funders, vendors, transportation, and guardians.
