Job summary

DirectShifts is seeking a General Medicine physician to perform VA Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and related evaluations. The role focuses on comprehensive examinations, record review, and precise documentation without prescribing or ongoing patient management.

Candidate must hold an MD or DO with board certification/eligibility and an active unrestricted license. Prior experience with disability evaluations is preferred; strong clinical assessment and documentation skills are

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible General Medicine physician.
• Active, unrestricted MD or DO license.
• Experience with disability evaluations or related medical fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform VA C&P disability examinations.
• Review medical records and documentation before evaluations.
• Conduct comprehensive General Medicine examinations.
• Complete DBQs and required reports accurately.
• Document findings clearly within established timelines.
• Maintain compliance with VA guidelines, HIPAA, and regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely evaluations.
