The Center for Human Services seeks an Employment Specialist in Kirksville, MO to provide person-centered employment supports for a caseload of 10–15 individuals. You will ensure plans align with funding requirements and support independent workplace participation.

You will document progress, participate in team meetings, and assist in training job coaches to ensure service quality and regulatory compliance across CHS and VR/DMH standards.

Formación

• Associate’s degree plus 2 years of experience in a support, coaching, education, or service coordination role.
• Experience teaching, mentoring, or guiding others toward goals is preferred.
• Familiarity with funding systems (VR, DMH) is strongly preferred.
• ACRE or CESP certification after the first year of position is encouraged.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary staff for a caseload of approximately 10–15 individuals.
• Provide employment supports aligned with each person’s employment plan and funding requirements.
• Complete monthly service reports and documentation in SetWorks per CHS/VR/DMH standards.
• Collaborate with the Professional Manager and PM for planning, reviews, and training of job coaches.
