In this leadership role, you will coach staff, drive operational excellence, and deliver exceptional service to clients and insureds during critical moments. A bachelor's degree and 5+ years of progressive claims experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Five+ years of progressive claims experience handling complex cases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Analytical ability and strong math aptitude.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to supervise and develop employees.
• Knowledge of insurance coverages and claims processes.
• Familiar with legal, medical and technical disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Establish performance standards, appraisals, and corrective actions.
• Review, analyze, and assign losses to claim examiners; balance workloads.
• Coach investigators, train on reserving and settlement techniques.
• Keep VP/AVP informed of activities; escalate beyond authority.
• Operate and train others on the Risk Tech Claim System and related tools.
