Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of legal social security or business experience.
• Strong dedication to achieving the best outcome for all parties.
• Bilingual a plus; willingness to be part of something big.

Responsibilities

• Proactive interaction with clients, medical providers, and legal representatives.
• Sending and Receiving Email via internal email program.
• Utilizing internet for filing appeals.
• Conduct client interviews and maintain general contact with the client regarding case status.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Understanding SSA regulations and how they impact benefits.
• Perform all aspects of appeals for SSA claims.
• Schedule all hearings for disability clients.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs for clients.
• Order medical records from providers and communicate with them during treatment.
• Obtain documents to support injury/liability positions.
• Interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and balances.
• Negotiate case settlements with insurance carriers and reduce medical balances.
• Collaborate with coworkers on case file management.
• Interact with attorneys and present case synopsis when required.
• Manage case files from intake to closing under attorney direction.
