Qualifications

• Reviews and analyzes evidence of illness, injury, disease or other medical conditions and vocational factors, to render disability determinations.
• Prepares written analyses explaining facts and basis for decisions and notifies claimants and the SSA.
• Maintains a caseload of initial Social Security Disability and SSI claims at various stages of development.
• Protects confidential medical and vocational information per federal and state mandates.
• Determines medical and vocational information needed to substantiate the claim and coordinates with related regulations.
• Consults with physicians, psychologists and vocational experts to address complex issues.

Responsibilities
