Confidential Employer. in Owings Mills, MD, seeks a licensed attorney to represent claimants in Social Security Disability Insurance and SSI matters. The role includes preparing clients for hearings and advocating before administrative law judges.

Candidates must be admitted to the Maryland or Virginia bar, with strong communication and case-management skills. Prior disability experience is preferred but training is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Maryland or Virginia bar license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage cases, deadlines, evidence, and client communications.
• Client-focused approach and genuine interest in advocacy.
• SSDI, SSI, disability law, administrative hearings, or related litigation experience preferred.
• Attorneys without direct disability experience may be considered and trained.

Responsibilities

• Represent claimants in Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income matters.

• Review medical records, disability documentation, and other case evidence.

• Help individuals who have been denied benefits navigate the appeals process.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Note
