Responsibilities

Job Overview:

TheDIRECTVTechnician will take charge of the installation, maintenance, and repair ofDIRECTVsatellite systems across multiple settings. This position demands a combination of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and outstanding customer service to ensure all clients receive top-quality support and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation: Conduct professional installations ofDIRECTVsatellite systems. This involves setting up satellite dishes, receivers, and related equipment while ensuring both functionality and customer satisfaction. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment during installation.

• Maintenance and Repair: Identify and resolve technical issues withDIRECTVsystems. Carry out necessary repairs and adjustments to ensure optimal system performance.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by clearly explaining system operations, addressing client questions, and efficiently resolving any concerns.
• Technical Support: Offer expert guidance and assistance on system usage, troubleshooting, and upgrades, customized to meet the specific requirements of our clients.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations during installations and service visits. Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
• Documentation: Complete and submit all required paperwork accurately, including service reports, installation forms, and customer feedback documents.
• Equipment Management: Keep company tools and equipment in excellent working order. Manage inventory and ensure proper handling and storage of equipment.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior experience in satellite installation, telecommunications, or a related field is preferred. Experience in diverse environments such as residential, commercial, lodging, and institutional settings is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Strong technical understanding of satellite systems and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity withDIRECTVproducts and services is advantageous.
• Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Physical Requirements: Excel in the ability to lift and carry equipment, work at heights, and adapt to various physical environments.
• License and Certification: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Relevant certification or training in satellite installation is beneficial.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
