Job summary

Shandon United Methodist Church is seeking a dynamic Director of Student Ministry to lead and grow a faith-filled program for students in grades 7–12. This role focuses on relational ministry, mentoring teens, and partnering with families and volunteers to foster discipleship.

The position emphasizes developing weekly programming, retreats, and service opportunities while integrating students into worship and life of the church, in a supportive church community.

Qualifications

• Active Christian faith and growing spiritual maturity.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to recruit, train and support volunteer leaders.
• Experience leading student or youth ministries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and cast vision for middle and high school ministry.

What You'll Do
